This video is a performance of "The Men's Program" by experienced peer educators. Men who watch the video will learn what rape is, what it might feel like, what women tend to experience before, during and after being raped, how to help a women recover from a rape experience, what they can do to modify their own behavior in their intimate encounters, and will be encouraged to confront their peers when necessary. Thought provoking and provocative, this video is great for use with fraternities, sports teams, men's residence halls, military units, community organizations, or any group of men who want to learn how to help women recover from rape. Women looking to present to men who can't find a male presenter could find it useful to show and then take questions or discuss other material. Also a great tool to show women how men can be educated about rape. In addition, it would be very helpful to help train sexual assault peer educators, or to help a peer education program get off the ground!

The clip below is a short overview of "The Men's Program." It includes short segments depicting the various aspects of the program.

First available from NO MORE in 2000, and in an earlier version from the Seattle Police Department, this powerful video is a presentation of a Police officer talking to new officers about how to handle rape cases. In doing so, Sgt. Ramon shares the story of a male police officer who went about his everyday business and was raped by two men. Afterward, other officers didn't believe it happened as he said it did, couldn't understand why he didn't fight back, and blamed him for what happened. The raped officer struggled with many aspects of rape trauma syndrome. This video is especially useful for helping men understand what it might feel like to be raped and is necessary for use as part of presenting "The Men's Program." Great for Universities, the Military, and community outreach organizations.

The clip below contains a short segment of the Police Rape Training Video in which Sgt. Ramon describes what happens after the officer has been raped. Sgt. Ramon also discusses what happens to the officer during the rape exam at the hospital and the attitudes of the other officers toward the male officer.

This clip does contain graphic language.
